TARAN DUGAL

is a writer and editorial staffer at The New Yorker whose work examines the cultural forces that shape our world, from rock and roll to gentrification to the rhythms of diasporic lives. He earned his BA from Williams College, and his work appears in The New Yorker, Rolling Stone, CREEM, Monster Children and elsewhere. He lives in North Brooklyn.
